Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is one of only a handful of hospitals in the UK who offer care for those who have an existing heart condition and develop cancer or whose heart is at risk of being damaged due to chemotherapy treatments. Nearly 50,000 people a year are diagnosed with lung cancer. People who are diagnosed have a good chance of survival if their cancer is detected early and LHCH is leading the way in working with our communities to provide screening.
